Established in 1988 by Ramona and Mark Settree, Romark Design Constructions is the Gold Coast’s premier luxury home builder. Based in Sanctuary Cove, today this long-standing family business can boast four generations of industry experience and wisdom.

CEO Mark started out in the high-rise sector with the largest Gold Coast building company at the time. With a career spanning over 35 years, he has since earnt his place as one of the Gold Coast’s most sought-after prestige home builders. His unique work is often featured in the local media for pushing the boundaries and achieving the unimaginable in construction prowess. He is particularly proud to be the Coast’s first luxury home builder providing a complete design and construct service.

Building is also in Romark’s blood with Ramona’s grandfather being a carpenter, and her father, an established high-profile builder in NSW and Victoria – with his company still operating today. Ramona’s father also held the prestigious position of President of the Housing Industry Association in Victoria.

Growing up in a building family, and working within the businesses, allowed Ramona to acquire a strong background in building knowledge and business operations.

Ramona and Mark’s son, Jason, was a familiar face on building sites from the tender age of three. Today he is the fourth-generation licensed builder, and fulfils the role of site supervisor and quality controller. His passion for building and attention to detail makes him a real asset, and he is loved by all the company’s clients.
