Showcased by an intriguing mix of clean architectural lines, expansive open-planned living, pool and ocean views, this residence presents as the perfect luxury oasis. Our Clients were relocating from Adelaide and contacted Romark to design and build their home. There were special requirements as they are a Chinese family, requiring a home large enough to accommodate two families. Exceptional in position and lifestyle attributes, this generous family home became the residential base to our clients – the grandparents – and their son, his wife and two children.

Our clients required a fully enclosed kitchen to contain the Chinese cooking smells within the kitchen area. We used a glass barrier to separate the kitchen. This zoning allows the cook to remain connected to the family yet contain the cooking aroma to the single area. The parents could not speak much English, so their son performed all the correspondence throughout the project. The resulting home allows the family to enjoy sun-drenched vistas with ample space to enjoy their time together as one large family unit. Since the build, we have become very good friends, and our Client often performs translation for other Clients where necessary.
